The early years: late 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s ... S&S raised the Grand Champion Steer at Houston, Grand Champion Steer at Fort Worth, Reserve Grand Champion at San Antonio two different times, and the Grand Champion at Phoenix
The 1990s ... S&S began to focus on American breed show steers. 1994 marked the Schroeder children's first major show overall champion, the Reserve Grand Champion Steer at San Antonio.
The 2000s ... While continuing to focus on American bred show steers, S&S also raised the Grand Champion Steer at the first Star of Texas Stock Show and Rodeo.
2010 to present ... S&S continues to focus primarily on American bred show steers, and enjoys the Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the Star of Texas.
